course record
Fastest circuit time
A course record is the fastest time or lowest score ever achieved on a particular race course or golf course.
In running, it's the best time recorded for that specific route: She broke the course record by twelve seconds.
In golf, it's the lowest score posted on that course under tournament conditions.
Course records are distinct from world records because they're tied to a specific venue.
