copyright notice
Legal authorship statement
A copyright notice is the text identifying ownership of a creative work, typically including the © symbol, the year of publication, and the rights holder's name: © 2024 Acme Publishing.
While no longer legally required for protection in most countries, copyright notices appear on books, websites, recordings, and other media to assert ownership and discourage infringement.
