copulative
Connects subject, predicate
Copulative describes something that connects or links.
In grammar, a copulative verb (also called a linking verb) joins a subject to a complement rather than expressing action: "is" in She is tall, "seem" in They seem happy.
The word also means relating to sexual coupling, though this sense is uncommon outside technical contexts.
