contract rights
Legally binding entitlements
Contract rights are the legal entitlements created when parties enter into a binding agreement.
If a contract promises you payment, delivery, or performance, you hold contract rights to those things.
These rights can often be assigned or sold to third parties: The bank purchased the contract rights to the loan payments.
Breach of contract occurs when one party violates another's contract rights.
