collagists
Cut-and-paste artists
Collagists are artists who make collages—works composed by assembling disparate materials like paper, photographs, fabric, or found objects into a unified composition.
The term covers both fine artists in the tradition of Picasso and Braque and casual crafters working with scissors and glue: The collagists in the workshop shared vintage magazines and ephemera.
