Cold brew coffee is coffee made by steeping grounds in cold or room-temperature water for an extended period—typically twelve to twenty-four hours—rather than using hot water.
The slow extraction produces a smoother, less acidic concentrate that's usually diluted before drinking.
I keep a batch of cold brew in the fridge for iced coffee.
