coevolving
Changing together reciprocally
Coevolving describes two or more things evolving together, each shaping the other's development.
The term comes from biology, where species in close ecological relationship—predator and prey, flower and pollinator—adapt in response to each other over generations.
The concept extends to any mutually influencing systems: coevolving technologies, coevolving ideas about gender and work.
The process is coevolution.
