charity stream
Benevolent live gaming
A charity stream is a live broadcast, typically on platforms like Twitch or YouTube, where the streamer raises money for a charitable cause.
Viewers donate during the stream, often in exchange for the streamer performing challenges, reaching goals, or simply to support the cause.
Marathon charity streams may run for hours or days: She did a 24-hour charity stream for St. Jude's.
