candytuft
White cluster flower
Candytuft is a low-growing plant with clusters of small white, pink, or purple flowers, popular in rock gardens and borders.
The name comes from Candia, an old name for Crete, where the plant was found—not from candy.
The candytuft spilled over the garden wall in a cascade of white blooms.
