candlemakers
Tallow artisans historically
Candlemakers are people who make candles, either as craftspeople or factory workers.
The trade was once essential—candles provided primary lighting before electricity.
Today candlemaking persists as small-batch craft and industrial manufacturing: The candlemakers at the local shop use beeswax and natural scents.
