Boujee is slang for aspiring to or displaying an upscale, materialistic lifestyle—designer clothes, expensive tastes, luxury brands.
From bourgeois, but filtered through hip-hop culture, it describes someone who flaunts wealth or acts high-class, sometimes beyond their means: She's too boujee to eat at a food truck.
The tone can be admiring, self-deprecating, or mocking depending on context.
