Foam wave rider
A boogieboard is a short, lightweight foam board for riding waves while lying prone, smaller and simpler than a surfboard.
Also called a bodyboard.
The verb means to ride such a board: We spent the afternoon boogieboarding at the beach.
Boogie Board is technically a trademark, though the term has become generic.
