bodyscapes
Flesh as terrain
Bodyscapes are photographs or artworks that frame the human body—or parts of it—as landscape.
Close-up images of curves, hollows, and contours transform flesh into abstract terrain: a spine becomes a ridge, a hip a dune, a navel a crater.
The term blends *body* and *landscape*, emphasizing form over identity.
Her bodyscapes series won the gallery prize.
