blade tip
Sword's outermost point
The outermost point of a blade—whether on a knife, sword, propeller, turbine, or wind generator.
Blade tips experience the highest speeds and stresses in rotating equipment: The blade tips of a helicopter rotor can approach the speed of sound.
In weaponry, the blade tip is where the cutting or piercing action concentrates.
