baggie

Small plastic pouch

A baggie is a small plastic bag, typically with a zip-seal closure, used for storing food or small items.

The word derives from the Ziploc competitor brand Baggies but now applies generically: Put the leftovers in a baggie.

In drug contexts, a baggie often refers to a small quantity of drugs sold in such a bag.
