autotuning
Self-adjusting vocal processing
Autotuning is the process of automatically adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
In audio production, Auto-Tune (the software) corrects pitch in vocal recordings, smoothing imperfect notes or creating a distinctive robotic effect heard in pop and hip-hop: Her voice was obviously autotuned.
In computing, autotuning lets software optimize itself for specific hardware configurations.
