antireform
Opposing systemic improvement
Antireform describes opposition to proposed changes or improvements, especially in politics or institutions.
The term typically appears in discussions of those resisting progressive legislation or modernization efforts: antireform legislators blocked the bill, an antireform faction within the party.
The prefix anti- marks hostility to reform movements rather than mere indifference.
