alienable

Able to transfer

Alienable describes property or rights that can be transferred, sold, or given to another.

The term appears most often in legal contexts.

Its opposite, inalienable, is far more common: inalienable rights are those that cannot be taken away or surrendered.

Land is typically alienable; human dignity is not.
