agnostic

Works with anything

Agnostic can function as either a noun or an adjective, to denote a person or characterize a belief or point of view.

An agnostic is someone who is either not firmly committed to a belief in God, or who holds that God is unknowable.

Agnostic is sometimes used in contrast to atheist, which is a firm denial of the existence of God.

Outside of religious contexts, agnostic is a way of characterizing their opinion about something that is not known with certainty: He is agnostic about whether early painters might have used mirrors to project images.
