aged wood
Time-worn lumber
Aged wood is lumber that has been allowed to dry and season over time, or wood that shows the weathered appearance of age.
In woodworking, aged wood has stable moisture content and resists warping.
The term also describes wood with a patina of wear, exposure, or antiquity—valued for furniture, flooring, and rustic décor: The barn was built with aged wood reclaimed from old farmhouses.
