USAID
Federal aid bureau
USAID is the United States Agency for International Development, the federal agency that administers foreign aid and development assistance.
It funds programs in health, agriculture, education, and disaster relief in developing countries: USAID provided emergency food supplies after the earthquake.
The agency often works alongside diplomatic and military efforts, making it a tool of both humanitarian and strategic foreign policy.
