The Last Kingdom

Uhtred's England saga

The Last Kingdom is a British historical drama television series (2015–2022) adapted from Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories novels.

Set in 9th- and 10th-century England during the Viking invasions, it follows Uhtred of Bebbanburg, a Saxon nobleman raised by Danes who serves Alfred the Great.

The series chronicles the gradual unification of England: I've been binge-watching The Last Kingdom.
