The Last Judgment
Ultimate divine reckoning
The Last Judgment is the Christian belief in a final divine reckoning at the end of time, when God judges all humanity—living and dead—determining eternal salvation or damnation.
The concept appears in other Abrahamic faiths and has inspired major works of art, most famously Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel fresco.
Also called the Day of Judgment or Judgment Day.
