Synchronicity

Events aligned by chance

Synchronicity is the meaningful coincidence of events that seem related but have no causal connection.

The concept, introduced by psychologist Carl Jung, suggests that some coincidences carry significance beyond chance—as when you think of someone moments before they call: The synchronicity of meeting her there felt like fate.

The word often appears in discussions of destiny, spirituality, or the uncanny timing of unrelated events.
