Super Soakers
Pressurized water guns
Super Soakers are high-powered water guns that use pressurized air to shoot streams of water much farther than traditional squirt guns.
Introduced in 1990, they became the dominant brand of water toy and a summer staple: The kids had a Super Soaker battle in the backyard.
The name is often used generically for any large water gun.
