Super-G
Speed skiing event
Super-G is an alpine skiing race that combines the speed of downhill with the technical turns of giant slalom.
The name shortens "super giant slalom." Courses are faster and have fewer gates than giant slalom, requiring skiers to navigate wide, sweeping turns at high speeds: She won gold in the Super-G at the Winter Olympics.
