Sebastian Bach
Sebastian Bach is the name of two figures in Western music separated by centuries.
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750) was a German composer of the Baroque era, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers in history: We're studying Bach's fugues this semester.
Sebastian Bach (born 1968) is a Canadian heavy metal singer, frontman of the band Skid Row in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Context usually clarifies which is meant—classical music discussions assume the composer, rock contexts the singer.
