Queen Mary
Historic ocean liner
Queen Mary refers to several British queens who bore the name Mary.
Most commonly it designates Mary I (1516–1558), known as "Bloody Mary" for her persecution of Protestants, or Mary II (1662–1694), who ruled jointly with William III.
Queen Mary is also the name of famous ocean liners—the RMS Queen Mary, launched in 1936, is now a floating hotel in Long Beach, California.
The Queen Mary 2 remains in transatlantic service.
