Plasticine

Soft sculpting material

Plasticine is a trademark for a brand of non-drying modeling clay, invented in the 1890s and still used in claymation films and by artists.

The material stays pliable because it's oil-based rather than water-based.

Wallace and Gromit were made with Plasticine. (Lowercase plasticine refers to any similar modeling compound.)
