Brummie
Central England accent
Brummie refers to a person from Birmingham, England, or the distinctive accent and dialect spoken there.
The term derives from Brummagem, an old local pronunciation of Birmingham.
As an adjective, it describes anything characteristic of the city or its speech: a Brummie accent, my Brummie relatives.
The dialect features distinctive vowel sounds and intonation patterns that set it apart from other English regional varieties.
