PalmPilot

Early digital assistant

PalmPilot was a handheld personal digital assistant introduced in 1996, one of the first commercially successful PDAs.

Users managed contacts, calendars, and notes on a small touchscreen, using a stylus and a simplified handwriting system called Graffiti.

The device synced with desktop computers via a cradle.

I kept my whole life on my PalmPilot.

The brand became nearly synonymous with PDAs before smartphones made them obsolete.
