Palace of Westminster
London's legislative seat
The Palace of Westminster is the building in London that houses the British Parliament—the House of Commons and House of Lords.
Often called the Houses of Parliament, it sits on the Thames and features the famous Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben).
The palace burned in 1834 and was rebuilt in Gothic Revival style.
The Prime Minister faced questions in the Palace of Westminster.
