NaN
Zero divided zero
NaN is a computing term meaning "not a number"—a value that results from undefined mathematical operations like dividing zero by zero or taking the square root of a negative number.
It signals that a calculation produced no meaningful numeric result: The function returned NaN because you can't divide by zero.
NaN has the peculiar property of not equaling itself, which programmers use to detect it.
