Mufasa

Mufasa is a fictional lion king from Disney's *The Lion King* (1994), remembered for his wisdom, deep voice, and tragic death at the hands of his brother Scar.

The name has become shorthand for a noble father figure or mentor: He's giving Mufasa energy with that speech.

In internet culture, Mufasa references often invoke his death scene or his ghostly appearance urging his son to "remember who you are."
