teachings
Lessons from masters
Teachings are ideas, principles, or doctrines passed down by a teacher, philosopher, or religious figure.
The word typically appears in contexts of wisdom or guidance: the teachings of Buddha, her grandmother's teachings about kindness.
Unlike lessons, which can be practical or mundane, teachings usually implies moral, spiritual, or philosophical content meant to shape how one lives.
