Memory Stick

Sony flash format

A memory stick is a small portable device for storing and transferring digital data, plugging into a computer's USB port.

The term originated as Sony's trademark for their flash memory cards but now commonly refers to any USB flash drive: I saved the files to a memory stick.

Also called a thumb drive or flash drive.
