MMPI

Psychological testing instrument

MMPI is the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, a standardized psychological test used to assess personality traits and psychopathology.

Developed in the 1930s, it remains one of the most widely used clinical assessment tools.

The test presents hundreds of true-false statements and generates scores across multiple scales measuring traits like depression, anxiety, and social introversion: The MMPI flagged elevated scores on the paranoia scale.
