Larissa
Thessalian regional capital
Larissa is a feminine given name of Greek origin, borne by a nymph in Greek mythology and an early Christian martyr.
The name remains popular in Eastern Europe and has gained wider use in English-speaking countries since the mid-20th century: Larissa started violin lessons at age four.
Larissa is also the fifth-largest moon of Neptune and a city in Greece.
