Kingdom of Heaven
God's eternal domain
Kingdom of Heaven is a Christian theological concept referring to the realm where God reigns—sometimes understood as an afterlife destination for the righteous, sometimes as a present spiritual reality among believers.
The phrase appears frequently in the Gospel of Matthew, where other gospels use "Kingdom of God." The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
The term also titles a 2005 Ridley Scott film about the Crusades.
