New Covenant
Grace replaces law
The New Covenant is the relationship between God and humanity established through Jesus Christ, as understood in Christian theology.
It supersedes the Old Covenant of Mosaic law, offering salvation through faith and grace rather than ritual observance: The New Covenant was sealed with Christ's blood.
The term comes from the New Testament, where Jesus declares the cup at the Last Supper to be the new covenant in my blood.
