Keys
Tropical island chain
Keys refers to the Florida Keys, a coral archipelago extending southwest from the Florida peninsula.
The chain includes Key West, Key Largo, and dozens of smaller islands connected by the Overseas Highway: We drove down to the Keys for spring break.
The name comes from Spanish cayo, meaning small island. (Lowercase keys are devices for locks or buttons on keyboards.)
