J.M. Barrie
Neverland's literary creator
J.M.
Barrie (1860–1937) was a Scottish playwright and novelist best known for creating Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up.
The character first appeared in Barrie's 1904 play and has since become a cultural symbol of eternal childhood and the refusal to mature.
Barrie's other works include *The Admirable Crichton* and *Dear Brutus*, though none achieved comparable fame.
