Instagram model
Curated beauty career
An Instagram model is someone who builds a modeling career primarily through the social media platform Instagram rather than traditional agencies.
The term often carries a dismissive edge, implying that the person's fame rests more on selfies, filters, and follower counts than on professional credentials: She calls herself an Instagram model, but she's never done a real shoot.
The line between Instagram model and influencer blurs considerably.
