Hussite Wars
Prague defenestration aftermath
The Hussite Wars were a series of conflicts in early 15th-century Bohemia sparked by the execution of religious reformer Jan Hus.
His followers, the Hussites, fought against crusades launched by the Catholic Church and Holy Roman Empire, successfully defending their reform movement through innovative military tactics including wagon fortresses.
The wars lasted roughly from 1419 to 1434.
