Happy Days

Fifties nostalgia series

Happy Days is an American television sitcom that aired from 1974 to 1984, set in 1950s Milwaukee and centered on the Cunningham family.

The show launched the career of Henry Winkler as the leather-jacketed Fonzie and spawned the spinoffs Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy.

The phrase happy days without the television reference simply means good times, often nostalgically recalled: Those were happy days.
