Hanna-Barbera

Scooby-Doo animation company

Hanna-Barbera was an American animation studio that dominated television cartoons from the 1960s through the 1990s.

Founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the studio created *The Flintstones*, *Scooby-Doo*, *The Jetsons*, *Yogi Bear*, and dozens of other series.

Their limited animation style—fewer frames, simpler movements—made TV production economically viable.

The name often appears as shorthand for a particular era of Saturday morning cartoons: very Hanna-Barbera.
