Huckleberry Hound
Drawling animated canine
Huckleberry Hound is a cartoon character created by Hanna-Barbera in 1958—a blue dog with a Southern drawl who remains cheerfully oblivious to misfortune while pursuing various occupations.
He's known for his slow, tuneless rendition of "Oh My Darling, Clementine." The character became an early icon of television animation and won the first Emmy awarded to an animated series.
