HDI

UN wellbeing measure

HDI stands for Human Development Index, a measure used by the United Nations to rank countries by quality of life rather than economic output alone.

It combines life expectancy, education levels, and income per capita into a single score: Norway consistently ranks near the top of the HDI.

Countries are classified as having low, medium, high, or very high human development.
