Gotye
Gotye is the stage name of Belgian-Australian musician Wouter De Backer, best known for the 2011 song "Somebody That I Used to Know." The name derives from a French rendering of his given name.
In internet culture, Gotye became synonymous with one-hit wonder status, though he had earlier success in Australia: He's basically the Gotye of that genre.
