Django Reinhardt

Django Reinhardt was a Belgian-born Romani jazz guitarist (1910–1953) who pioneered an influential European style of jazz.

Despite losing the use of two fingers in a fire, he developed a revolutionary technique that shaped jazz guitar.

With violinist Stéphane Grappelli, he cofounded the Quintette du Hot Club de France: He plays guitar like Django Reinhardt.
